Billy Lee Black (Xenogears)

why billy?: So I've never played Xenogears. I did watch a few minutes of it, but I fell asleep. In my infinite hypocrisy, I did a costume for the simple reason that I like the character design and my friends wanted me to be a part of their group. Billy is really, really cute.
con notes: Two of my friends went as Fei and Citan at Akon. However, since the boots hurt my feet, I got left behind and hung out with random other video game characters. I look creepy with white hair.
construction: This costume was a nightmare. Yes, it certainly LOOKS easy enough. However, I made that stupid jacket three times. First time, I decided the fabric was just too stiff to make a jacket. Second time, I RAN OUT of fabric towards the end. So I ended up using a navy suiting material on sale. The shirt, cuffs, and bow are all made from mint green cotton stretch interlock. I bought the pants and boots, neither of which fit at all. I reused the little guns from Punch & Judy.
