Frog (Chrono Trigger)

why frog?: My friend John is insane. Apparently, being Frog has always been a dream of his. He even had a Frog mask already. When I offered to make a costume, this was his choice! I have to admit, Frog is the only mildly tolerable of all the main characters from Chrono Trigger.
con notes: You would be amazed how many people know Frog. Giant frogs are uncommon at conventions.
constrution: I used thick white cotton for the pants, attached gold cuffs to the bottom, and real leather laces (leather is impossible to sew through). The shirt is stretchy white cotton with green fabric and black bias tape on the sleeves. The armor is gold taffeta with about four layers of interfacing to make it very thick. It has about 20 gold buttons on it. The cape is made out of this cool material that I really liked working with. There are about 30 square feet of dark green used in the cape. John made his own sword and shield and provided the frog mask.
