Yamato "Matt" Ishida (Digimon)

why matt?: Hehe. I actually don't like Matt all that much. I mean, he's from Digimon, and I like Digimon. I love TK. Matt's just... okay. I think it's funny that his purpose in living is always saving TK. Then it is amusing that he gets all depressed when TK no longer needs saving. I mean, his life loses purpose! Eeek! Anyway, I made my good friend Matt (names are confusing, hahaha) a season 1 Tai costume, because he has almost every other Tai costume ever. Just to go with his, I put this together last minute.
con notes: Yeah, so Matt was Tai and I was Matt. XD Hahaha. Keith joined us as Joe. Go season 1! I'm not good at scowling.
construction: The jeans and shoes I already own. I bought a stretchy dark green ribbed turtleneck with a very wide neck. It was a size L, so it required a ton of hemming, in addition to my having to cut off the sleeves. I used brownish work gloves which are an XL to give that super large Digimon look. I actually own a harmonica! Whoo! The only exciting part of this costume is the wig. I ordered a long, punk style wig, in golden blonde. It arrived, the day before the convention, and it was WHITE. -_- So, on top of having to style it up like Matt's weird spiky hair, I also had to do something about the color. The solution? Gold spray paint! XD
