McDohl (Suikoden)

why mcdohl?: Suikoden is what originally caused Matt and I to meet. Matt loooves McDohl, a character I am completely indifferent towards. While we generally agree about the characters, and the fact that the original game is superior to the sequel, I can't understand his attachment to McDohl. Oh well, it was still ultra cool to be part of the big Suikoden group at Otakon with him! Plus, he got to learn how to iron. :P
con notes: We had a whole Suikoden group at Otakon! It was awesome. Matt and I wore our costumes together at both coventions. I went as Sierra.
construction: This costume was a learning experience. I learned that you should use bias tape and NOT ribbon to edge things in. Ribbon = bad. It is expensive and difficult to work with. Making the tunic was very difficult. The pants were easy, but I no longer trust patterns to be sized properly. The wig gave us a lot of difficulty. Matt used bandage tape for the legs. A shame this costume is lost for good.
