Priestess (Ragnarok Online)

why priestess?: Ragnarok Online, that idiotic and cute Korean MMORPG, took over my life in 2003-2004. I got 99, owned a bazillion headgears, had fun in WoE, and eventually gave away my stuff and quit. I moved on to World of Warcraft. Actually, to be perfeclty honest, I always preferred my wizard to my priest, but she was cute.

construction: No wig! Yaaay! Faux suede in a lovely purple shade made this costume a reality. I based my design entirely from my sprite, ignoring the colors and details of the official artwork. I bought the pink gloves, which matched perfectly with some pink scraps I had lying around to make the cuffs with. I cut up an old pink t-shirt and covered some $5 walmart shoes in that. Then I glued on gold bias tape with snaps on one side for the shoes. I bought thigh high velvet stockings and a garter belt, which I wear sideways since the garters were in the wrong place. Haha! I made the bib out of some scrap material and bought a gold cross during Halloween season. At Ushicon, I borrowed a bible from the hotel room.
