Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop)

why spike?: My roommate really likes Cowboy Bebop. The music is cool, but I never found the show half as wonderful as he did. Spike is super cool though, so of COURSE he wanted to be Spike.
con notes: We had fun wearing all these silly Halloween costumes I made. He even got some fake cigarettes to complete this costume.
constrution: I used real suiting on the suit! He provided his own yellow shirt and tie. I think he got the shirt from his father or something silly like that. The highlight of this costume for me was the wig. It was originally some black old lady wig, but I attacked it. After I had pulled and stretched and hairsprayed it into a wild look like Spike's hair, I spraypainted it green! It turned out great- black in most light, green up close.
