Sprite (Secret of Mana)

why sprite?: My roommate and I were hardcore Secret of Mana fans. Actually I think I was more hardcore, having put XX hours into it, having all max level weapons and spells, and of course being max level. But regardless, it's a great game and we used to play it together. Somehow we got the idea to cosplay it as a trio with my roommate's younger brother (who is very short and cute) as the sprite. Unfortunately, the other two costumes never happened.
con notes: I inflict the evil of cosplay upon everyone I know! This was his first costume and people recognized it. I thought that was awesome.
construction: That robe is made out of some truly unique lime green material. The triangular pattern around the neck is felt. The round gem at the chest is a mirror painted blue, with gold puff paint around it. I made him some cute purple shoe covers that we pinned to his shoes. The wig was this hideous elvira thing, and it used to be dark brown. Then I attacked it with 2 or 3 different colors of spray paint. It smelled awful and needed some ventilation but it looked pretty good. And those feather thingies in the hair are craft foam with stripes painted on them.
